We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Building Automation Systems (BAS) Commissioning Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the commissioning of BAS and HVAC control systems to ensure optimal performance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a collaborative attitude to deliver high-quality results on commercial projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
System Testing and Commissioning:
· Perform pre-functional and functional testing of BAS and HVAC control systems.
· Validate system performance against design specifications and project requirements.
· Verify system interface and integration of BAS objects, including third party equipment.
Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:
· Diagnose and resolve issues in system configurations, wiring, and programming.
· Collaborate with project management team, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical challenges.
Documentation and Reporting:
· Prepare and maintain detailed commissioning documentation, including test scripts, reports, and system as-built drawings.
· Ensure accurate and up-to-date system documentation is provided to clients.
System Optimization and Training:
· Identify opportunities to enhance system performance and efficiency.
· Provide on-site training to end-users on system operation and maintenance.
Compliance and Safety:
· Ensure all commissioning activities comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
· Associate’s degree or technical certification in HVAC, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
· 2 years of experience in BAS or HVAC system commissioning preferred.
Technical Skills:
· Proficiency with BAS platforms such as Delta Controls, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, or similar. Preference to Delta ORCAview/Delta EnteliWEB/Tridium Workplace.
· Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and control logic.
· Experience with networking protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks) is a plus.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36.00 - $62.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
