Electro Magnetic Applications (EMA) is seeking a highly motivated Technical Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling simulation software and services related to electromagnetic engineering. EMA is also open to an early career individual with a technical background in electromagnetics. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth and expanding our market presence within the electromagnetic engineering industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the electromagnetic engineering market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with the marketing and technical teams to develop compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Utilize CRM tools to manage sales pipeline, forecast sales, and track customer interactions.
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, with a focus on software and services related to engineering simulation.
- Strong understanding of engineering simulation tools and their applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in engineering or business.
- Experience working with engineering simulation software such as ANSYS, EMA3D, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with the aerospace, defense, or automotive industries.
The on-target salary range for this position is $75,000-$150,000 commensurate with experience and skill level.
