Job Summary
The Data Coordinator is responsible for supporting engineering, production control, manufacturing, quality, assembly, and others by facilitating communication between the teams. Using informal and informal communication channels to convey information to recipients, both technical and non-technical audiences, is a critical function of the role. The Data Coordinator may also be asked to support special projects within the engineering team as necessary
Duties
· Data entry into Line Power’s MRP system (GSS) for parts and assemblies.
· Validation of part description formatting.
· Part number sequence validation.
· Structuring data sets to allow bills of material (BOM) to readily support multiple manufacturing and build facilities.
· Translation of BOM into cut list format.
· Generation of hard copy document packages to support groups as necessary at EMC facilities in Bristol.
· Assembly and distribution of product manuals for use by internal and external customers.
· Maintain deficiency database, tracks open deficiencies and provide reports as needed.
· Hands-on efforts in assist with R & D efforts and new product development as needed.
· Flexibility to address additional responsibilities as directed by the Manager of Engineering.
· Maintain a safe working environment by utilizing methods, tools, and equipment that comply with federal regulations and company safety requirements.
· Adhere to and comply with all company policies and procedures.
· Adjust working hours to assist the company in meeting goals and objectives.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.82 - $21.63 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
