What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Technician position at ELECTRO-MECHANICAL CORPORATION?
Major Areas of Responsibility
1. Assist in the management of the documented Quality System for the division.
2. Coordinate the internal Quality System audits
3. Assist in the coordination of External Quality System Audits
4. Manage and direct team-oriented Continuous Improvement Programs
5. Coordinate/direct Continuous Improvement Department activities
Organization
This position reports to the Quality Manager of the division. This position has no direct reports.
Relationships
This position has frequent contact with Engineering, Marketing, Production Control, and Manufacturing departments on ISO and Quality System compliance issues as well as process improvement items.
Travel
This position does not require travel on a routine basis. Minimal travel may be required for training or Quality System Audits or as needed.
Education and Experience
This position requires a two-year technical degree in a related field or a minimum of two years experience in a related field. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for the requirements listed above. Equivalency is determined at the joint discretion of the Division Human Resources Manager and Quality Manager.

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
