Position Summary:

The Production Support Operator is responsible for several key functions related to the processing of test equipment as it moves from Receiving to Cleaning and Shipping. Support Operators will learn a variety of electrical testing models and their associated processes and accessories.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment cleaning and accessorizing
• Unloading inbound shipments
• Verification of returned accessories with inbound equipment
• Restocking of equipment by manufacturer within multiple warehouse locations
• Packing of equipment in boxes and using spray foam system
• Shipment of freight equipment and securing on pallets or crates

• Performs other related duties as assigned, in accordance with business needs and organizational goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 2 years of relative work experience
• Focused attention to detail
• Positive, can-do attitude
• Reliable in both quality of work and attendance
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 2 years of relative work experience

*Compensation Range from $18 to $20 an hour depending on experience.

Physical Requirements

• All positions will require, to some degree, the physical abilities described below to perform the essential functions of the job
• Work the expected hours, consistently arrive at work at the agreed time and follow Company rules and guidelines regarding breaks and meal periods.  Full time is typically considered to be 40 hours per week
• Communicate effectively, both oral and written.
• Move around and through all work areas as needed, may include climbing stairs or ladders
• Lift and/or move up to 75 pounds individually and up to 150 pounds as a team
• Regularly sit at the assigned workstation
• Use of tablets and computers to process equipment in various IT systems
• Use hands to manipulate documents and general paperwork to view contents
• Read documents, reports, files etc.
• Communicate effectively
