Basic Function: Project Manager is responsible for the overall successful completion of one or more projects as processed from Purchase Order through Manufacturing, Testing, Shipment and Documentation Preparation. This position is our customer interface for the project.
Qualifications:
Minimum requirements: Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent combination of training and experience to be considered qualified for the position requirements.
Preferred requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering plus 3-5 years of related work in manufacturing of sanitary equipment for the Biotech or Food Industry.
Nature and Scope:
The Project Manager reports to the General Manager, interacts daily with other members of the Engineering Department and provides assistance to the Manufacturing Department as required.
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Project Management – Process projects from Purchase Order and Design stages throughcompletion of Manufacturing, Testing, Shipment and Documentation preparation.
- Effectively interact with customers during project development, manufacturing and testing.
- Manage invoicing through project stages.
- Ensure that Change Orders are properly processed and additional invoicing of customer is
- completed as appropriate.
- Demonstrates a willingness to complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned in order to support the overall organization. Participates in Electrol’s continuous quality improvement process and dedication to customer satisfaction.
- Overall Support and Quality Focus
Position
- Quality and accuracy in all aspects of job function.
- Capable of working effectively with other Engineers of various disciplines.
- Increasing accountability as experience increases.
- Self starter, willing to learn and work under direction.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Solid computer skills with Microsoft Office, MRP Systems, etc. Autodesk experience is a plus.
- Ability to interact tactfully with customers indirectly and directly during various phases of projects.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
