Basic Function: The Stockroom/Inspection Person is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the stockroom area, including shipping and receiving.

Qualifications:
Minimum requirements: High School diploma or equivalent; or an equivalent combination of training and experience; or a demonstrated capability to perform the duties of the job.
Preferred requirements: Two (2) years experience in a manufacturing environment, with stockroom experience. Experienced forklift driver. Carpentry Skills
Nature and Scope: The Stockroom/Inspection Person reports to the Purchasing Manager. Interacts daily with the Purchasing Department, Engineering personnel, and shop personnel.
Key Responsibility Areas:
1. Responsible for shipping items via UPS, FedEx, DHL, including packaging and shipping documentation.
2. Responsible for notifying freight carriers and arranging pick-ups of shipments.
3. Responsible for building skids/crates for large shipments.
4. Provide stock part requests for jobs, or parts requested by shop personnel.
5. Maintain appropriate level of stock per established inventory reorder points.
6. Load and unload products using pallet jacks and forklift as necessary.
7. Verify required documentation for purchased parts received and store electronic and hard copies.
8. Verify purchased items received by checking part number of items, inspecting condition of items, and comparing actual count of items received to packing list and purchase order.
9. Document and ensure inventory accuracy by recording additions, disbursements, adjustments of stock items, and perform periodic cycle counts.
10. Overall Support and Quality Focus
11. Demonstrates a willingness to complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned in order to support the overall organization. Participates in Electrol’s continuous quality improvement process and dedication to customer satisfaction.
12. Ability to stand for long hours, ability to lift 50 lbs frequently.
13. Maintain cleanliness and organization of stock room area.
14. Ability to multitask and adapt to prioritized work based on production and customer needs.
15. Ability to work without supervision and take initiative to find productive activities during down time.
16. Occasional driving out of town to deliver or pick up products with company vehicle.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
