Position Summary
The Field Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing field-level marketing strategies to drive trial, sales growth, and brand awareness in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of marketing and sales experience, a strong understanding of local market geography, and the ability to create and execute a comprehensive marketing plan.
Principal Duties
- Develop and execute a regional marketing plan that supports the growth targets established by the company
- Leverage all national marketing programs that are relevant in the region to their fullest potential
- Work with Commercial teams to develop and implement sales incentive programs, training materials, regional activation, and support for market blitzes and other sales/trade events within respective region
- Manage a team and work collaboratively with other marketing functions, distributor partners, Business Units, and Commercialization Teams to develop, communicate, and execute the promotional plan for the respective region
- Manage a budget, evaluate and manage all local sponsorship agreements, coordinate and execute event plans, and work with Commercial Teams to activate marketing investments in trade
- Lead the communication of marketing initiatives to the local sales & distribution teams
- Be the local face to our global brand
- Help support and enhance activation on site with a strong focus on consumer
- Evaluate and manage all local sponsorship agreements including Consumer Engagement

- Strong understanding and knowledge of local market geography
- Ability to create and execute a comprehensive marketing plan
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Highly collaborative personality, always in search of the best solutions to create win-win situations
- Self-starter but able to take direction, ability to work both independently and as a team player
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or other related field
- At least five (5) years of marketing and sales experience in Beverage CPG industry
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills; PowerPoint and Excel
- Proficient knowledge of all Social Media platforms
Other Requirements
- Travel up to 50%
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
- Must be legally authorized to work in the USA
