Job Title: Material Handler

You will be based in our Fletcher, NC location. The shift will start at 7:00 am and ends at 3:30pm.

Your main tasks:

• Full pallet picking. Put aways for staged product.
• Perform location purifications.
• Replenish locations with full pallets. Perform pick coverage as needed. Identify and correct pallet safety issues within the racks.
• Clean empty locations. Collaborate with Team Lead to prioritize daily tasks and business requirements.
• Be a process expert to provide additional support and guidance to Supervisor and Team Lead.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Must be able and available to work from 5 AM to 6 PM (depending on schedule), including weekends.
• Ability to count efficiently under pressure. Ability to work well under pressure. Must be a collaborator, flexible, and motivated.
• Must have the initiative and discipline to work with limited supervision and problem solve.
• Must be able to- or willing to learn-how to operate warehouse equipment, to include forklifts, comfortably and safely.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous equipment experience, preferred Turret Truck.
• Understanding of racking locations.
• Basic system knowledge with AS400.
• Basic math skills.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift packages 35 lbs. or less on a consistent basis.
• Should be able to team lift any package greater than 35 lbs. but less than 71 lbs.
• Should be able to handle repetitive twisting, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, and bending. Must be able to spend extended periods of time sitting.
