Operations Clerk - 1st Shift

You will be based in Lancaster, TX
Your main tasks:
- Unloading, verifying, and receiving incoming materials
- Stock material to appropriate warehouse location
- Pull material (picks) for assembly line changeovers
- Determine changeover material shortages and communicate to appropriate personnel
- Order production wool, communicate and coordinate delivery trailers for wool product
- Equipment operation includes stand-up motor, cherry picker, gas and propane fork truck, swing reach, electric and standard pallet jack
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 3-5 years' experience of Shipping / Receiving Office Clerk responsibilities
- Experience working with a variety of WMS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP, Warehouse management systems, SAP, etc.
- Flexibility to work standard shifts as well as extended business hours depending on customer needs
Physical Demands:
- Regularly sitting on a powered industrial truck
- Lift up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time
- Having a good sense of balance and good eye-hand-foot coordination
- Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season
