Respooler/Strander - 1st and 2nd Shift

Electron Beam Technologies is presently seeking an individual for our Production Department as a Respooler/Backup Strander Operator for 1st and 2nd shifts.

1st Shift Schedule: Tuesday-Friday 5:00am-3:30pm

2nd Shift Schedule: Monday-Thursday 3:00pm-1:30am

Key responsibilities include set-up and run:

Primary responsibility - Respoolers for copper and control lead.

Set-up involves getting the correct copper and/or control lead as needed for various jobs.

Quality

o Checks - as described on the Manufacturing Orders (MO's).

o Visual/Physical - visually inspecting copper/control lead for defects as being respooled and physically checking the reels of copper/control lead for defects as being respooled.

Long periods of standing Frequent forklift driving

o Moves various reels of copper or control lead to/from storage area(s),

o Moves packaging material (empty reels or bobbins) to/from work area,

Secondary responsibility will be to be trained as a backup operator for the Stranding lines after having shown proficiency on respooling.

Follow all Company Safety rules. Dependable attendance.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED.

Computer skills associated with operation of the machines. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Lean manufacturing experience is desired.

Ability to work with others.

Hourly Rate Range: $18-$20/hr – based on experience

Potential for up to $2/hr in increases over first 18 months
