We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager for our NYC office. The Project Manager will be responsible for management of all aspects of our NYC based projects.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Responsible for managing all aspects of a project and ensuring completion of projects on time and within budget for all scopes.
- Ensuring overall success of project including installation and system performance, verifying the vision of what was sold is comparable to what was installed.
- Effectively manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Act as the primary point of contact both internally and externally for assigned projects, communicate with other trades and contractors to maintain project status.
- Manage labor schedules including scheduling of technicians, verifying timelines with other client vendors and coordinate accordingly to submit labor requests.
- Manage financial aspects of all projects. Work alongside all project departments to match contract needs.Verify that labor hours used for projects are within budget.
- Supervise direct reports of technicians including performance management, review and approve time entries for technicians working on assigned projects, ensure hours match scope of work performed.
- Assist sales in creation and management of change orders for each assigned project.
- Maintain organization of project changes within CW, connect with various departments for project execution including changes with project product, design, scope or staffing needs.
- Determine action lists for assigned projects with clearly defined responsibilities for all stakeholders, scope of work, and expected completion dates.
- Issue punch lists for any remaining scope of work prior to clients moving in, provide weekly updates until all items have been satisfactorily completed following the clients move in.
- Create applicable project audits at project completion. Provide accounting team with full project and labor list for accurate billing.
- Perform quality checks and testing of all installed items as projects progress. Ensure installations are done to EENY standards, including proper control of 3rd party systems.
- Connect with service and sales team to issue a service contract with project completion. Work with service team for accurate warranty documentation.
- Perform system training at the end of each project for the client.
- Lead project close out meetings, verify that all documentation for the project is updated with any change orders that occurred over the course of the project. Mark any documentation red lines.
