Electronic Instrumentation & Technology: EIT-Zollner, is looking for a Materials Associate specializing in shipping to join our team in our Leesburg, VA location! EIT-Zollner is a Contract Manufacturer specializing in Electronic Manufacturing Services and serves customers in the sectors of Industry, Communications, Aerospace, Defense and Healthcare.
Job Description:
The position of Materials Associate – Shipping prepares all completed products with proper packaging/boxing for shipment as well as all shipping documentation and labels for both domestic and international shipments.
- Package, ship, and invoice finished products
- Maintain accurate inventory levels of finished products
- Generate tracking reports as requested for delivery confirmation
- Manage inventory of packing supplies and re-order as needed
- Crosstrain within the Materials Department for relief support as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience with computer-controlled inventory and electronic components, required
- Experience in domestic and overseas shipping and packaging environment, required
- Experience with Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) used for international shipping, preferred
- Strong attention to details
- Good communicator
- Able to lift 40 pounds
- Will be required to obtain forklift certification
Working Conditions:
Shipping environment
9/80 work schedule, with every other Friday off
Overtime is expected when necessary
