EIT (Electronic Instrumentation & Technology) is looking for a Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Operator to join our team in our Danville, VA plant! EIT is a Contract Manufacturer specializing in Electronic Manufacturing Services and serves customers in the sectors of Industry, Communications, Aerospace, Defense and Healthcare.
Job Description :
The position of SMT Operator performs the function of operating and programming surface mount assembly equipment, and manufacturing SMT assemblies.
The SMT Operator will operate the following equipment :
- Automated solder-paste stencil printing machine
- Automated Solder Paste Inspection machine
- Automated Adhesive Dispensing machine
- Loading the proper components onto SMT Placement Machines.
- Operating the automated SMT placement machines
- Operating the reflow oven including loading recipes and performing weekly PM.
- Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machine and performing quality inspections at each stage to ensure correct assemblies are manufactured
