Summary of this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Analyst to join a dynamic, fast-paced, and transformational team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in stakeholder management, budgeting, variance analysis, and ad hoc projects working closely with the VP of Financial Planning & Aanalysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead or assist the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes, including budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning and various Board of Directors deliverables
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business decision-making and strategic initiatives
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Support M&A activities, including financial due diligence and integration planning
• Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic planning
• Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes and tools
• Utilize SQL coding to extract and manipulate data for analysis.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize financial data and performance metrics
• Perform residual calculations to determine ongoing revenue streams from payment processing activities.
• Manage sales commissions calculations and reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely payments
• Other duties as assigned by your manager

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or any related discipline
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in FP&A, preferably within the payments industry or similar sector
• Strong attention to detail  and accuracy
• Innovative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Effective time management in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work on multiple tasks and projects concurrently
• Highly proficient in  Microsoft Excel
• SQL and/or PowerBI is a plus
• Payments industry or a similar sector is a plus
