Our client in healthcare services is seeking a Helpdesk Specialist with to work a 6 to 8-month contract assignment (onsite 4 days/week) in Colorado Springs, CO. The Helpdesk Specialist will play a crucial role in assisting the organization with an upcoming Windows 10/11 migration project.
Responsibilities
- Orderly and methodically assist users from different departments with migrating from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
- Resolve issues due to migration (locating copying and restoring files, documents, links, etc., swap and track assets after migration completion.
- Ensure new laptop or reimaged laptop functions (ensure the user(s) can log in, repopulate desktop and test to ensure print, email, network drives, applications, camera, etc. works and is functioning properly.
- Coordinate with other teams or departments to resolve user problems.
- Identify, research and resolve routine technical problems of low complexity and provide support to end users for basic computer, application, system, device, access and hardware issues.
- Educate users and assist in locating Windows 11 training guides and videos.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with Windows 10/11 and computer imaging
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to migrations and imaging.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with team members and end-users.
- Ability to work on-site daily at the site location with potential travel to other sites in close proximity to the main site.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of the migration project.
