What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lesson Admin Team Member position at Elefante Music?
Elefante Music & School for the Performing Arts is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and problem-solving individual to join our lesson program team in an administrative and customer service capacity. This individual will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our students, parents, and teachers while ensuring that all lesson program operations run smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and emails to provide customer service support to students, parents, and teachers.
- Schedule lessons for students and communicate with teachers regarding scheduling changes or cancellations.
- Coordinate lesson program operations, including student enrollment, teacher onboarding, and program billing.
- Help maintain and organize the lesson program schedule and records.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in customer service or administrative support.
- Knowledge of music instruments and/or the ability to learn quickly.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible availability, including some evening and Saturday hours.
- Passion for music education
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a music store or music school.
- Knowledge of music education software or billing systems.
