General Experience : At least 10 years of experience planning, designing, building, and implementing IT application systems. Must have led or been chief architect in a major IT applications implementation effort. Must have a strong background in software engineering principles and techniques.
Specialized Experience :
- At least six (6) years of experience in designing medium to large-scale sites and management of at least five Internet projects.
- 1.5 years' experience as an application architect.
- Demonstrated progression in responsibilities and roles, with experience in designing and implementing complex IT solutions within the Transportation Industry.
- In-depth knowledge and expertise in a variety of technologies relevant to the organization's architecture needs.
- Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) or Zachman Framework.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, cloud-native applications in MS Azure and services.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Ability to create and communicate architectural visions and roadmaps to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of best practices in system architecture, design patterns, and integration strategies.
- Ability to design solutions architectures using modern decoupled, event-based, and API-enabled frameworks.
- Experience with implementing container management systems.
- Active mid to advanced cloud certification (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.).
