Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shop Assistant to join our dynamic team in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate would be strong. Have flexible hours and knowledge and experience working with hand tools and power tools. As a Shop Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day to day operations, ensuring that products are efficiently produced and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Harvesting Large blocks of raw Ice
- Delivering Ice Cubes and Ice Sculptures (must have Drivers License)
- Cutting Ice cubes in a freezer using a Biro saw
- Cleaning and organizing shop, vehicles and freezers
- Working well with your fellow team members
- Operate Manual Pallet Jack, Dolly, Band Saw. Sawmill, various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Drivers License with a fair/good driving record
- Previous experience not needed. We will train you
- The ability to troubleshoot basic issues.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and assembly line processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing tasks as needed.
