What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Assistant position at Elegant Occasions Event Center, LLC?
· Part-Time Position
· Starting at $15 per hr
· Additional commission for event planning, decorating and coordination.
· Available to work nights and weekends.
· Weekday, afternoon availability preferred but not required.
· Providing recommendations for clients as needed and according to what is best for the client and facility.
· Coming up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success.
· Independent thinker who thinks outside of the box and creatively
· Ensure event is complete as per customer’s request.
· Resolve problems that may occur during set-up or course of the event.
· Oversee facility related activities and questions during events.
· Provide guided tours for potential clients.
· Client relations to include follow-up calls.
· Ensure the facility and other areas related to facility (parking area) are kept in a clean and orderly fashion.
· Assist with miscellaneous duties to include but not limited:
o Event Set-Up and Break-Down
o Lesioning with known and unknown vendors
o Event Floor Plans
o Administrative duties
o Other Miscellaneous Needs of the Facility
· Supply management.
· Supervise facility vendors and contractors.
