As a Technical Designer, you'll be an integral part of our design process, ensuring that every detail is meticulously executed and that our projects seamlessly transition from concept to construction. You'll collaborate closely with our design team, using your technical skills to create precise drawings, stunning visualizations, and comprehensive documentation.

Elegant Simplicity Interiors

This is a full-time position (40 hours / week) that requires a highly organized, deadline driven detail-oriented individual with :

Advanced technical skills : You possess a strong command of design software, including Revit, Enscape, and BIM Collab Pro, and can create detailed drawings, elevations, and 3D renderings.

Exceptional communication skills : You can clearly and concisely communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
A passion for design : You have a deep appreciation for design principles and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every element of a project is executed flawlessly.

As a Technical Designer / Architectural Assistant , you will be responsible for :

Creating detailed construction drawings, elevations, and 2D floor plans with precise callouts for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, millwork, and other elements.

Developing and managing BIM models in Revit, coordinating with contractors to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Producing stunning photorealistic 3D renderings and walkthroughs to help clients visualize the final design.

Create Revit Families for 3D modeling of furniture, decor and accessories for projects.

Assisting in client and vendor communication as needed, ensuring clear and effective information exchange.

Developing and revising standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

Participating in Design / Organizing Install Days to ensure a smooth and successful execution of the design vision.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture (Interior).

3 years of professional experience as a Technical Designer in the interior design industry (preferred).

NCIDQ, PMP, LEED, or WELL AP accreditation is an asset.

Outstanding proficiency in Revit, Enscape, BIM Collab Pro, and other architectural software.

Professional-level software proficiency in Word, Excel, and Canva.

Must be capable of learning new computer software programs quickly.

A self-starter who is proactive in asking questions and thrives in collaborative team environments.

Ability to work well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects, and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines.

Ability to demonstrate a high level of professional maturity.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
