George Fox University Announces a Full-time, Non-tenure-track Faculty And Administration Position In Spanish, To Begin In August 2025. This Educator/administrator Will Provide Curricular Oversight To The Spanish Minor, Teach a Range Of Spanish Classes, And Develop Programs With Multiple University Stakeholders-including The Department Of English And Languages, The Center For Study Abroad, And International Student Services-to Support The Spanish Minor And Modern Languages At George Fox University. The Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate

• a passion for the Spanish language, along with the literatures and cultures of the Spanish-speaking world
• an aptitude for studying and working in a variety of international and multicultural contexts
• creativity in diverse teaching experiences
  
  

Candidates with entrepreneurial expertise or organizational management experience, fluency in multiple modern languages, and/or expertise in second-language acquisition, language teaching methods, and language pedagogy are especially encouraged to apply.

Requisitos

We're Looking For Candidates Who Have

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Spanish, comparative literature, education or a related field.
• Fluency in Spanish.
• The ability to teach a range of courses including: beginning Spanish, advanced courses in Spanish/Latinx literatures and cultures, and Cornerstone (general education) classes in either Writing or Literature.
• Permanent and unrestricted work authorization in the United States.
• A personal commitment to Jesus Christ and express their Christian testimony in a church. In addition, employees agree to live in agreement with the Community Lifestyle Statement and affirm the theological commitments expressed in the Statement of Faith.
