Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Teach first- and second-year courses in the Spanish program (anticipated course load 4/4).
- Contribute to service activities in the department.
Minimum Qualifications
- Near-native or native proficiency in Spanish.
- Master’s degree (for Lecturer) or earned doctorate (for Teaching Assistant Professor) in Spanish or closely-related field; degree must be conferred by August 2025.
- One year of experience in teaching first- and second-year Spanish courses.
- Familiarity with ACTFL proficiency guidelines.
- Experience in world language assessment.
- Experience in teaching language courses in a hybrid or online format.
