What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pilot Site Manager position at Elekta?

The position is primarily responsible to manage all business line software aspects of pilot projects, from planning through completion for business line software products and supporting joint projects with other business areas. This person will also assist business line colleagues to execute a coordinated hand-off to regional software teams upon the release of software. The success of the pilot site manager relies strongly on their ability to manage, communicate, set, and maintain clear expectations with everyone involved in the pilot implementation.
Responsibilities -
- Manage all business line software aspects of pilot projects to ensure a successful outcome from the pilot process.
- Facilitates pilot site selection based on agreed pilot criteria.
- Manages the customer and their schedule throughout the pilot program ensuring the customer is kept informed at all times.
- Facilitates regular meetings with the customer and Elekta key stakeholders within the customers local time zone to manage a successful pilot program.
- Manages the allocation of multi-functional Elekta resources to the pilot program to ensure products are deployed, customer is trained and support is provided throughout the pilot program.
- Communicate implementation project plans, progress, and action items to both external customer and internal teams.
- Manage pilot programs in compliance with QMS procedures.
- Manage customer escalations relating to pilot program, remotely and on-site as required.
- Oversee accurate documentation of implementation and product support demands in business systems during pilot program.
- Contribute to pilot process improvements.
- Maintain a continuous professional development to keep product knowledge up to date; take training courses and placements or secondments as agreed within the company’s appraisal process.
- Utilise clinical or technical specialist expertise in daily operations.
- Manage ‘customer led’ validation activities to obtain user feedback for product development and solutions.
- Communicate and ensure compliance with Elekta’s Code of Conduct
Qualifications -
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Employees must be able to read, speak, write, and comprehend the English language.
- Degree level education and/or three or more years of successful project management within a high technology industry required
- Elekta software knowledge is strongly desirable
- Must have strong leadership, organizational and time management skill as well as attention to details; ability to accomplish objectives with and through others without direct control.
- Are empathetic, with a positive attitude and desire to help our customers reach their goals
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills and ability to work effectively in matrix organisations
- Have exceptional communication skills, highly organized, collaborative and detail-oriented
- Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, MS Project, CLM and other Window based applications

The US base salary range for this position is $125,000- 150,000.
