EleMech Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented Parts Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team. This role is responsible for receiving and organizing parts, assisting with cycle counts, and supporting assembly and layout as needed. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips, and inspect for damage or discrepancies.
- Organize and store materials efficiently in designated warehouse areas.
- Track and document received parts to ensure accurate inventory records (not an inventory control role).
- Assist with periodic cyclecounts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace while following company safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as assembly and layout, to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Occasionally assist with assembly and layout tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Prior experience in a warehouse or receiving role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed (up to 50 lbs)
- Basic hand tool experience for occasional assembly or layout assistance.
- Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain certification).
- Basic computer skills for data entry and tracking received parts.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
