Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Prepare and/or review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Support the establishment and enhancement of a strong internal control environment
- Own the accounting process over key areas such as investments, debt, stock-based compensation, leasing, and intercompany
- Research technical accounting guidance and document conclusions in accounting memorandums
- Support and/or perform the processing of certain tax filings
- Identify, provide input to and/or support improvements to systems and processes to drive efficiency and enhance effectiveness
- Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline with a minimum of 8 years of broad, progressive accounting experience
- A CPA designation is strongly preferred
- Experience with the preparation of financial statements in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment preferred
- Familiarity with a wide range of GAAP/Accounting topics such as revenue recognition, investments, debt, etc
- NetSuite proficiency preferred
- Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with both internal and external stakeholders
- A passion for teamwork and continuous improvement
- Ability to sit and/or stand at a work station for long periods of time
- Ability to move objects weighing up to 20 pounds
