Job Description
The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring that guest rooms are clean, comfortable, and inviting. This includes making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting furniture, and vacuuming floors. The Room Attendant must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and must be able to prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms according to established standards
- Make beds, change linens, and clean bathrooms
- Dust furniture and vacuum floors
- Restock guest room supplies as needed
- Report any maintenance issues to the appropriate department
- Assist with laundry as needed
- Ensure that guest rooms are secure and that all guest belongings are treated with care
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
