General Summary:
The Maintenance Technician ensures all facilities, equipment, and systems operate efficiently and safely. They will perform preventive maintenance and repair tasks to maintain a comfortable and secure environment for guests and staff.
Principle Responsibilities:
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
- Perform routine, repetitive daily inspection of all location building’s interiors and exterior. Notify management of problems/concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Assist with outdoor seasonal work (snow and ice removal).
- Maintain pool in proper chemical level, water quality and condition, and equipment operation and condition.
- Be knowledgeable of hotel/restaurant safety, security, and emergency procedures and equipment as related to department responsibilities.
Job Duties:
- Maintain outside of plaza area, through the painting of light pole bases, curbs, and railings, sweeping, washing windows, and general cleanup and maintenance. Trim/depose of tree branches, clear rubbish. Keep disposal areas clean and in a safe condition. Report potholes, pavement problems, cracks, crumbling curbs, heaved cement to management so repairs can be made.
- Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, plumbing, and electrical equipment.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and ensure efficient operations.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years preferred of satisfactory work experience, preferably in a maintenance-related field.
- Ability to work flexible hours and perform duties in an orderly fashion under general supervision.
- A valid New York State driver's license is required as this position requires travel to multiple facilities.
