ELEMENT Engineering Group is looking for a Survey Technician. This individual will prepare design surveys and have a working knowledge of digital terrain models.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparation of design surveys, topography, and right of way mapping.
- Ability to work with laser scanning and TopoDOT extraction software.
- Demonstrates solid working knowledge of digital terrain models (DTM) and 3D surfaces.
- Determine property boundaries by legal, survey records, and land titles.
- Self-motivated and organized with good decision-making skills.
- Process and interpret robotic survey data collected in the field.
- Potential for occasional field work including site inspections, courthouse research and quality assurance.
- Understanding of surveying terminology and preparation of a variety surveying products.
- Desire to work with newer technologies
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience
- High School Graduate, Graduate of a drafting program a plus.
- UAV 107 Certification a plus
- Working knowledge of MicroStation, Civil 3D, Pix4D a plus
- Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and problem solve.
- Working experience with Microsoft Office software.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work for any employer in the United States.
