What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Test Technician position at Element Materials Technology?
Overview
Element has an opportunity for a Associate Test Technician to join our rapidly expanding team.In this role, you will perform a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under direct supervision.
This role is based in Sungei Kadut, Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Perform varies of construction testing onsite such as concrete, soil and timber
- Conduct temperature monitoring and pullout test for tiles and structural fixings
- Have an idea/conduct lab soil,concrete and aggregate testing. (Preferable)
- Physically fit and able to work in construction sites, work at height, tunnel, & possible under direct sunlight.
- Prepare and compile reports/worksheets.
Skills / Qualifications
- Working knowledge of laboratory safety
- HS diploma or GED certificate preferred. College or vocational school coursework welcomed
- 0-2 years’ experience in a testing related field
- Basic understanding of testing concepts
- Possess computer skills.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry a plus
Physical Demands:
- Frequency of required physical force: Minimum (moderate).
- Lifting requirements: lifting <50 lbs. often and > 50 lbs. on occasion
- Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 50 lbs periodically
