What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping, Receiving, and Order Entry Technician position at Element Materials Technology?
Overview
Element has an opportunity for an Order Entry Technician to perform order entry of incoming test requests and other scheduled tasks under direction of Office Manager or detailed procedures. Perform technical review of client PO’s to ensure compliance.
Salary: $24- $28/hr DOE
Responsibilities
- Receiving incoming material
- Complying required paperwork for a job package for order entry
- Shipping out tested specimens to customers in a timely manner
- Upkeep of spreadsheets for projects, blanket PO balances, jobs on hold, freezer log & shipment tracking information for customers
- Customer service to customers regarding their shipments when needed
Skills / Qualifications
- High school degree required
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Experience in logisitics, shipping, and packaging desired
This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3), or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon the employer obtaining the necessary export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security, the U.S. Department of State’s Office of Defense Trade Controls, or other applicable government agency.
