Overview
Element has an opportunity for a Testing Technician at our Kokomo, IN lab. Element Kokomo is an industry-leading provider of testing and inspection services for the automotive, industrial, and aerospace industries.
Responsibilities
- Setup and conduct product electrical tests per technical specifications
- Operate laboratory equipment and instruments
- Monitor test progress to meet scheduled milestones
- Accurately record test results/documentation and write final reports
- Acquire knowledge and proficiency in the use of general and specialized laboratory techniques, equipment, and instrumentation
- Prepare test samples
- Perform tests using OEM and International Specifications
- Perform standard engineering test measurements
- Record test data and product performance
- Prepare test reports
Skills / Qualifications
- Minimum of a two-year associate degree in electrical/electronic discipline and/or equivalent experience
- Must have an aptitude for electrical or electronic technology
- Basic understanding and ability to read technical specifications
- Effectively works with others
- Use of Microsoft Office
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and Word
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Analytical ability to aid in problem resolution and troubleshooting
- Understands the capabilities and application of basic laboratory instrumentation
- Must be able to work 1st shift 7am-3:30pm-Monday-Friday
