What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Laundry Technision position at Element Moab?
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for providing a constant supply of clean linens for the entire hotel. Weekend laundry is critical to the supply of clean towels, bedsheets, and cleaning rags for the next day's housekeepers. This position must be available to work Saturday through Tuesday and either work 8 or 10 hours per day.
Responsibilities:
- Sort all linens and treat stains
- Load all laundry into the washer and select the specified cleaning agents on the screen
- Take wet, clean items and dry as directed
- Sort and fold clean dried items
- Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to the Housekeeping manager
- Notify the maintenance department of any equipment malfunction or repair needs
- Perform additional laundry services when necessary
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds on a consistent basis
- Consistent and reliable
- Must be 18 or older
- Multi-tasking skills
