Element Resources is seeking a skilled Electrician for their battery recycling facility. Full-time Day Shift available. Candidates should possess a Journeyman Card or a 2-year technical degree along with 4 years of relevant experience.

Successful applicants will demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities and familiarity with :

VFD's,
PLC's,
soft start equipment,
motor starters,
motors up to 450 HP,
lighting controls,
expertise in 480 volt 3 phase.
general machine and equipment repair experience.

Responsibilities

Enforce all safety procedures diligently.

Maintain low blood lead levels by following safety standards.

Take accountability for any recordable accidents.

Document work data accurately on work order forms.

Contribute ideas and solutions for equipment enhancement and participate in various improvement initiatives.

Positively influence and motivate fellow team members.

Adapt to work on any shift as needed.

Adhere to Lock Out / Tag Out protocols.

Qualifications

Proficient in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems, with knowledge of 480v three phase, control power, MA signals, and both AC and DC circuits.

Capable of overseeing electrical construction tasks, including conduit runs, wire pulls, terminations, and component installations.

Experienced in troubleshooting, repairing, and adjusting all types of plant equipment.

Proficient in maintaining PLCs, control circuits, and primary power systems.

Able to lift 50 pounds, climb industrial ladders, and demonstrate good physical dexterity.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Strong understanding of shop mathematics and blueprints.

Familiar with manuals and procedures related to various machinery.

Efficient in conducting electrical repairs and modifications.

Exhibit the right attitude and capability to work independently.

Flexibly manage shifting priorities in response to unexpected events.

Experienced with burners and burner controls; knowledge of industrial furnaces is a plus.

All staff must be clean-shaven and wear full-face respirators and ear plugs provided by the company while inside the facility.

Employees are required to wear company-issued uniforms and change clothes in an open locker room. Showers must be taken in an open area before switching to personal clothing at the end of each shift.

Education

High School diploma or GED required.

Journeyman's card, 2-year technical degree, or 4 years of proven experience in an industrial setting.
