SAP Security Consultant - BW HANA & Reporting

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Consultant with a strong background in BW HANA and Reporting in SAP security. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security roles and authorizations for SAP BW on HANA systems, ensuring secure access to reporting tools like BEx, Analysis for Office (AO), and SAP Fiori.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement security roles and authorizations for SAP BW/4HANA and BW on HANA systems.
• Configure and manage security for reporting tools, including BEx Queries, AO, SAC, and Fiori Launchpad.
• Collaborate with BI, BASIS, and functional teams to ensure seamless integration and access control.
• Analyze and troubleshoot authorization issues in reporting environments.
• Maintain compliance with internal security policies and external regulations (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
• Support audits by providing relevant data and documentation on SAP access and roles.
• Perform user administration, role provisioning, and regular security reviews.
• Implement GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) rules for BW and reporting environments if applicable.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8-10 years of SAP Security experience with at least32 years in SAP BW on HANA or BW/4HANA.
• Strong knowledge of authorization concepts in SAP BW, HANA DB, and reporting tools.
• Hands-on experience with BEx, Analysis for Office (AO), SAP Fiori, and/or SAC security.
• Understanding of HANA Analytical Privileges and native HANA modeling security aspects.

Experience with GRC Access Control is a plus.

• Ability to analyze complex security issues and provide sustainable solutions.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP Certifications in Security or BW.
• Experience in S/4HANA security is a plus.
• Experience with cloud-based reporting tools (SAC, SAP Datasphere, etc.).
