Job Summary:
The Hotel Maintenance Tech @ the Element Tukwila Hotel assists with the hotel's day-to-day maintenance and repair operations. They will complete work orders to ensure that all requests are carried out efficiently and in accordance with safety and quality standards while supporting the daily implementation of Level 5's "High Touch" facilities program.
**THIS IS FOR A "PART-TIME AM SHIFT" - FRIDAY/SATURDAY'S - 7:00AM - 3:30PM**
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and repairing physical structures within hotel building and exterior grounds
- Painting, performing structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of guestrooms and carrying out basic electrical and plumbing tasks and preventive maintenance
- Assisting with ground maintenance activities such as trash pickup and pressure washing
- Cleaning and upkeep of hotel buildings, including floor buffing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and washing windows
- Assisting other departments as requested, including moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies
- Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules
- Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists staff in solving work problems

- Preferred knowledge of hotels and hospitality industry
- Capable of using Quore mobile app to complete PMs and work orders
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma and Trade school course work in related field preferred.
- Previous engineer/maintenance experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift.
- Must be able to access and navigate the facility w/o assistance.
- Employees are required to adhere to safety requirements by wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Work is routine and repetitive in nature and may require strenuous physical exertion at times, including the ability to move objects weighing up to 50lbs.
7:00am - 3:30pm
16 hours per week (part-time role)
