Description
Element Electronics started in 2007 with a simple belief - every home should have access to TVs with the latest technology. After a few years, we decided we wanted to do more; in 2014, we opened our factory in Winnsboro, SC making Element the only major television company assembling TVs in the United States. Today, we continue to push ourselves and have expanded our product range of electronics and home appliances while continuing to provide customers with products with the latest technology, but at the most accessible prices.
This position is responsible for the planning, directing, and coordinating of manufacturing processes in an industrial plant. Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods by leveraging expertise in product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling, production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. Analyzes and plans workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, and equipment / workspace layouts to maximize efficiency. Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs, applying statistical methods to forecast future manufacturing needs. Other responsibilities include :
- Communicate clearly across all organizational levels to ensure alignment and shared direction.
- Review and analyze daily reports to identify gaps in safety,
- quality, and delivery, and develop countermeasures or root cause analyses for continuous improvement.
- Utilize data analysis and the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle to lead, support, and justify solutions with cross-functional teams in resolving complex problems.
- Monitor and optimize equipment and processes to ensure high manufacturing performance while minimizing operating expenses.
- Build technical expertise by mentoring, training, and sharing knowledge with colleagues and team members.
- Use data-driven insights to set priorities and make informed decisions to achieve business objectives effectively.
- Test, evaluate, and implement new technologies to enhance equipment and process efficiency.
- Develop and manage investment and expense budgets to meet cost targets.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals.
