The position of the Warehouse Clerk is responsible for all aspects of various warehouse functions, including, Shipping receiving, handling, accurate counting, accurate inventory, lifting, and preparation of product for internal material delivery while maintaining GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices) in a safe, efficient, and orderly fashion. Other responsibilities are :

Receiving

Receives Incoming material into the warehouse, from internal and external customers safely, accurately, orderly and efficiently.
Verifies the quantity and description of materials are accurate.
Appropriately report and or record any discrepancies, damaged material.
Attaches identifying labels, tags or designated marks on incoming material...
Operates a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment where needed.
Accurately identify and count stock (raw) materials as needed.
Periodically provides cycle counts as prescribed.
Accepts and signs for incoming material from vendors.
Assists in unloading shipments from delivery truck
Processes returns for any defective or incorrect items.
Maintains records of all received shipments
Conducts inventory of products, and logs data into inventory database (spreadsheet and ERP
Incoming receiving logs and detention logs.
Ensure posting of inbound material using ERP system.
Report incoming inaccuracies to warehouse management.

Shipping

Prepares outgoing shipments, by physically and systematically reviewing pick orders, staging reports and shipping reports.

Reviews product for defects and inaccuracies and reporting discrepancies to the appropriate staff.

Organizes the shipping and corresponding areas and maintains clean safe work area.

Checks trailers for damage and report to warehouse management.

Ensures all shipments follow SOPs to prevent inaccurate shipments (loss of Goods);

Prepares and affix labels in accordance with procedures.

Prepares packing List and Bill of Ladings for shipments.

Processes customer orders from shipping schedules.

Arranges docking of trailers in accordance to shipping schedule.

Ensures all transactions are recorded in company database.

Daily cycle counts of assigned areas.

Maintains appropriate records, files and documentation and resolves routine problems.

All other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

General Warehouse operations

Excel Spreadsheet-Proficient

Able to withstand temperatures in a non-climatic controlled warehouse.

Position spends majority of time standing, walking, lifting, counting and reconciling.

Pays close attention to detail.

Possesses physical strength necessary to lift and move heavy boxes received by the store.

Exhibits ability to use inventory software efficiently.

Possesses basic math skills.

Works well with a team.

Communicates clearly and effectively.

Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills.

Demonstrates solid problem-solving skills.

Manages time efficiently
