The position of the Warehouse Clerk is responsible for all aspects of various warehouse functions, including, Shipping receiving, handling, accurate counting, accurate inventory, lifting, and preparation of product for internal material delivery while maintaining GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices) in a safe, efficient, and orderly fashion. Other responsibilities are :
Receiving
- Receives Incoming material into the warehouse, from internal and external customers safely, accurately, orderly and efficiently.
- Verifies the quantity and description of materials are accurate.
- Appropriately report and or record any discrepancies, damaged material.
- Attaches identifying labels, tags or designated marks on incoming material...
- Operates a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment where needed.
- Accurately identify and count stock (raw) materials as needed.
- Periodically provides cycle counts as prescribed.
- Accepts and signs for incoming material from vendors.
- Assists in unloading shipments from delivery truck
- Processes returns for any defective or incorrect items.
- Maintains records of all received shipments
- Conducts inventory of products, and logs data into inventory database (spreadsheet and ERP
- Incoming receiving logs and detention logs.
- Ensure posting of inbound material using ERP system.
- Report incoming inaccuracies to warehouse management.
