Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Batch Maker to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the preparation and mixing of raw materials to create finished products, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production schedules. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and measure raw materials according to specified formulas and batch sizes.
- Operate machinery and equipment for mixing, blending, and packaging products.
- Ensure compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) throughout the production process.
- Conduct quality checks on materials and finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of batch production, including materials used and quantities produced.
- Assist in the training of new employees on batch-making processes and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff for efficient materials handling and inventory management.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the production process.
Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with CGMP regulations is a plus.
- Skills in materials handling, forklift operation, and machining are desirable.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques is beneficial.
- Ability to fabricate components as needed for production processes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Must be able to lift heavy materials as required by the job.
