Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chemical Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of chemical processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of chemical handling, fabrication, and laboratory practices, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Fabricate and assemble components as needed for production processes.
- Conduct materials handling tasks, including the movement and storage of raw materials and finished products.
- Utilize forklift equipment for loading and unloading materials in compliance with safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including batch numbers, quantities, and quality control measures.
- Follow CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste in production processes.
- Collaborate with laboratory personnel to conduct tests on raw materials and finished products as required.
- Assist in packaging operations to prepare products for shipment while ensuring quality standards are met.
Skills
- Proficient in machining techniques and equipment operation.
- Strong understanding of materials handling principles.
- Experience operating forklifts safely within a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with laboratory practices related to chemical analysis and testing.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to enhance operational efficiency.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
