We are looking for experienced Machinist who are proficient in both CNC Milling and Turning machines.
The ideal candidate should have experience in:
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to read blueprints and inspect their own work, using standard measuring equipment, e.g. micrometers and calipers.
- Working knowledge of Mastercam, or similar software, is a strong plus but not a requirement. Please note that this is a Machinist, not a Machine Operator, position.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Work within and support the culture of an AS9100 and ISO9001:2015
- Read and understand blueprints and specifications of the complexity of the aerospace and defense shipbuilding industries.
- Work as a team player and stay on task as a self-starting individual.
- Adjust to the ever-changing workflow, cross train, and perform multiple tasks as required.
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives through a willingness to think creatively to solve problems and accept better ways of doing things.
