CNC Operator Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating CNC machinery and a strong understanding of precision machining processes. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality parts and components while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Duties
- Operate CNC milling machines, lathes, and other related equipment to produce precision parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
- Set up and adjust machine tools, including micrometers and other measuring instruments, to ensure accurate production.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
- Utilize CAM programming for efficient machine operation and part production.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
Experience
- Proficiency in operating CNC machinery, including Fanuc controls.
- Familiarity with various machining processes such as welding, stamping press operations, and press brake machine usage is preferred.
- Experience with blueprint reading and the ability to interpret technical specifications accurately.
- Knowledge of micrometers and other precision measuring tools is essential.
- Previous experience with forklift operation is a plus.
- Understanding of CAM programming techniques is advantageous.
