CNC Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC machinery and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. This role involves operating CNC machines to produce precision parts while ensuring quality control throughout the production process. The CNC Operator will work closely with engineers and other team members to meet production goals and maintain high standards of workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines according to specifications and production schedules.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
• Perform quality control checks using tools such as calipers and gauges to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Set up machines, including loading tools, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment as needed.
• Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating CNC machinery with a solid understanding of machining processes.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively.
• Experience in quality control practices to ensure product accuracy and consistency.
• Familiarity with CAM programming for efficient machine operation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks or similar CAD software is a plus for design-related tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
