Position Overview:
Element2 has partnered with a dynamic company looking for skilled candidates with experience in composite and fiberglass work. As a Composite & Fiberglass Technician, you will be involved in a variety of tasks that contribute to the creation of high-quality products. You’ll work in a collaborative environment where attention to detail and precision are key.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply fiber layers to surfaces and sculpt materials for molding new parts.
- Use molds to create parts, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Perform cosmetic repairs to enhance the appearance and durability of products.
- Utilize hand tools for sanding, buffing, and cutting materials to specifications.
- Collaborate with a team to assemble and construct parts, ensuring proper fit and function.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring safety standards are met.
- Stay focused on assigned tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Be open to overtime as needed, with little notice, to meet production goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with sanding, buffing, and using hand tools.
- Background in composite and fiberglass work is highly preferred.
- Experience in assembly and/or construction environments.
- Ability to work well within a team and contribute to group goals.
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills.
- Ability to stay focused and productive while managing multiple tasks.
- Flexibility to work overtime as required.
Hours: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
