Forklift Operations Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure efficient loading, unloading, and movement of products within our facility. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks, cherry pickers, and order pickers, to move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload shipments with precision to prevent damage to products.
• Assist in shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists.
• Perform order picking tasks efficiently to fulfill customer orders accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and productivity.

Qualifications

• Proven Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse setting.
• Familiarity with various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks, cranes, and cherry pickers.
• Strong understanding of shipping and receiving procedures.
• Ability to perform order picking tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Must possess a valid forklift operator certification or be willing to obtain one.
• Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Available shifts: (10:30 AM to 7 PM ) & (7PM to 3:30AM)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Overnight shift

Ability to Commute:

• Fall River, MA 02724 (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
