What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Labor 1st Shift position at Element2 Group?
As a General Laborer on the 1st shift, you will assist in various tasks throughout the production area to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This may include material handling, assembly support, machine operation, packaging, and general maintenance. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, proactive, and able to work well as part of a team.
7 AM - 3:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move materials, parts, and products as needed.
- Assembly Support: Assist with assembly tasks, ensuring products are built correctly and to specifications.
- Machine Assistance: Help machine operators with setup, loading, and operation, and ensure work areas are properly stocked.
- Packaging & Staging: Package finished products for shipment, ensuring they are securely prepared and labeled.
- Cleanliness & Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area. Assist with general cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all company safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a general labor or manufacturing role is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
