Responsibilities
- Operate injection molding machines and ensure they are functioning correctly.
- Set up molds and adjust machine settings for optimal production.
- Monitor the production process, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to inspect parts for quality assurance.
- Assemble components as needed and ensure proper handling of materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and implement lean manufacturing practices.
Skills
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing techniques to enhance productivity.
- Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Familiarity with forklift operation for material handling (certification preferred).
- Knowledge of machining processes related to plastics extrusion and CNC operations.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively in assembly tasks.
- Understanding of logic controllers used in automated machinery.
