Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sorter to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The Sorter will play a crucial role in the supply chain process by accurately sorting and organizing products for efficient order fulfillment. Duties
- Sort and categorize products based on established criteria to facilitate efficient processing and distribution.
- Utilize data collection techniques to track inventory levels and assist in maintaining accurate stock records.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and adherence to quality standards.
- Operate warehouse management systems to manage sorting processes effectively.
- Assist in the procurement of materials as needed, ensuring that all items are accounted for during sorting operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of sorted items to identify discrepancies or damages, reporting issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or supply chain environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques is advantageous for optimizing sorting processes.
- Knowledge of order fulfillment practices and warehouse management systems will be beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented setting.
