Overview
We take pride in delivering high-quality products to our customers and maintaining a streamlined, efficient operation. We're currently looking for a reliable and organized Shipping Clerk to join our warehouse team and ensure the timely and accurate shipment of finished goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process shipments of manufactured products according to customer orders.
- Pick, pack, and label products for outgoing shipments.
- Collect and organize materials, tools, and components based on production schedules or assembly instructions.
- Ensure the proper labeling, sorting, and storage of parts to minimize errors and streamline the production process.
- Verify and check inventory levels to ensure the necessary materials are on hand.
- Review orders and production schedules to coordinate accurate and timely shipping.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in the shipping process.
- Update and maintain shipping logs and inventory tracking systems.
- Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to manage stock levels and product movement.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Manufacturing Shipping role
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of order fulfillment practices.
- Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely (certification may be required).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members.
