What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Technician position at Element2 Group?
We are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team!The ideal candidate will have experience in laboratory procedures, a passion for science, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for conducting various tests, analyses, and assisting with research and development efforts.
1st shift 7am - 3:30pm
$22-$27/hr depending on experience!
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare samples and perform routine laboratory tests such as chemical, physical, or biological tests.
- Maintain and operate laboratory equipment such as microscopes, spectrometers, and centrifuges.
- Record and analyze data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in research and development projects by providing technical support and maintaining a clean and organized lab environment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with lab regulations and procedures.
- Document test results and prepare reports for review by supervisors.
- Collaborate with scientists, researchers, and other lab staff to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety and cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Familiarity with ICP is a plus!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
